I don't go easy on critiques when it comes to art or food, honey!

First of all, more anatomy fixes. Hair doesn't flop to its side, chest needs to be more broad, this IS a woman, not a man, the neck is long, and the shirt neckline is rectangular, if you want that kind of shirt, put something under it so it is more realistic. The Shading and the background clash a lot. The outline really doesn't fit all too well, just do black outlines in this setting, or make it fit better. Although the Original Character is original, the hair and outfit isn't. Make her spunky, or however you invision her. She looks like a norm. The eyes are quite large, and I suggest more realism to them. A simple gradient background? No. It looks like a School Photo Backdrop. You are relying on Gimp waaay too much. Don't rely on the tools, scan something you make every once in a while. A Serene impact is given though. Although, make her in the middle of the picture next time. The side makes the middle more attracting.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings, I didn't mean to! I have a different personality, cold, when it comes to this sort of stuff. Perhaps I should ask myself how to make my art better...

I know my art needs improving too,
